Ozark Folk Center State Park to host spring cleanup event
The Ozark Folk Center State Park will host a Craft Village spring cleanup event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22. Upon arrival, volunteers should sign in at the visitor center. The park is located at 1032 Park Ave. in Mountain View.
TRC Music Department presents Spring Showcase April 4
The Three Rivers College Music Department will present its Spring Showcase at 7 p.m. April 4 at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center.
Powhatan Historic State Park to host cemetery cleaning workshop
Historic State Park will host a cemetery cleaning workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday March 25. Join park staff to learn what you can do, and what you shouldn’t do, to care for stone and concrete monuments. Participants are encouraged to wear outdoor work clothes, and bring their own drinking water, chair, and note-taking materials. This event is free to the public. ASU Lecture-Concert Series to present “Spiritual Journey”
The Lecture-Concert Series at Arkansas State University will present tenor Limmie Pulliam and pianist Mark Markham in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in Riceland Hall of Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Dr. Admission is free.
Rep. Rick Crawford announces annual art competition for high school students
On Thursday, March 2, Representative Rick Crawford (AR-01) released the guidelines for his annual Congressional Art Competition for high school students (grades 9-12) in the First District of Arkansas. This competition is part of a nationwide high school visual arts competition sponsored by the Congressional Institute.
