The Rector High School chapter of the FFA will host its annual dinner and auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. The event will be held at the Rector Community Center and all funds generated will benefit the local chapter. Organizers noted donations for the auc-tion are also still being gathered, and are appreciated.

The Little Rock VA Regional Office’s next Virtual Claims Clinic for Arkansas Veterans is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, March 23. During the upcoming Virtual Claims Clinic, veterans may speak to staff of the Little Rock VA Regional Office who are ready to assist them with specific questions regarding VA benefits claims.
The application deadline has been extended to March 17 for the Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. Graduates will be able to work directly with patients both young and old to increase their quality of life.
