The Lady Mohawks hosted the Lady Bobcats of Corning on Tuesday, April 18, which was also senior night for Piggott. Emma Langley, Alyssa Manor and Grace Hooten were the seniors on this year’s team. They were presented after the game.

Put yourself in place where history happened as you become judge, part of the jury, a lawyer, or maybe even the accused as we bring a court case from Powhatan’s history to life. TheAmerican Red Cross is facing a critical blood shortage and has issued an appeal for blood donors. The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 28, at the Piggott High School located at 533 East Main Street. Williams Baptist University will host an art exhibit April 21-26 in the Maddox Center Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the WBU’s Maddox Center. The exhibit will feature the work of WBU students produced throughout the year.

During the upcoming Virtual Claims Clinic, veterans may speak to staff of the Little Rock VA Regional Office who are ready to assist them with specific questions regarding VA benefits claims.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer several opportunities to learn about starting and growing a business in May. Several sessions will have opportunities for businesses to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant.
