A beautiful Saturday morning, June 3, brought interested patrons to the Rector Community Museum for the Grand Opening of the Farm Room. “I just love these old farm implements,” said Barbara Jones who stopped by to see what was new and interesting at the museum.
What does the Bluebird Café in Nashville have in common with the Ford Room in Rector? TRIPPP has played both venues and the intimate setting in Rector is one of their most preferred. They will be headlining at the Ford Room on Thursday, June 15, for a night of music inside the Rector Community Museum.

Once again this year, both the Piggott and Rector School Districts are taking part in the USDA Summer Feeding program. Under the federally-funded effort, all those under the age of 18 are provided free meals at local schools. The meals are the same for all children regardless of family income, race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. No registration is required for those attending.
