Rector senior boys team gets huge conference win against Earle on the road

The overall play focused on rebounds, secondchance points, and “crashing the boards.” Coach Matt Mills stomped and called time-out very early. Not too much changed, including the score. The Cougars first seven points increased by four points to the first quarter. The Bulldogs added points with hot shooting and layups, grabbing loose balls, and running the baseline. They scored on put-backs. The Cougars were getting no second-chance points. Cougar energy evaporated with each missed shot, three-pointers bouncing off a frozen rim.
