Rector FFA annual dinner and auction set Saturday
The Rector High School chapter of the FFA will host its annual dinner and auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. The event will be held at the Rector Community Center and all funds generated will benefit the local chapter. Organizers noted donations for the auction are also still being gathered, and are appreciated.

Senior night held at Rector High School
Friday night Feb. 2, the Cougar basketball games were the backdrop for honoring the seniors involved with the cheerleading squad, the boys and girls basketball Cougars. Karrin Henderson and Emma Holmes served as announcers for the presentation.

Cougars win final home game against Manila
Rector’s basketball Cougars played their final home game on Tuesday night against the Manila Lions. There is something about leaving everything on the court, and that is what these senior Cougars did. The sweat, the tears, the confetticheers that happened for these guys over the span of their careers from junior high to the final game at home, the Cougars have always made the hometown fans proud. Cooper Rabjohn, Drew Henderson, Carter Hill, Ashton Scott, and Caleb Manning played their final game as seniors at home.
