The 2024 4-H O-Rama: Undercover Clover was held at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Tuesday, July 23 through Friday, July 26. Each year contests are held at the state level.
The start of a new school year typically marks the dreaded return of homework for students and parents. Brittney Schrick, extension family life specialist and associate professor for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, said it’s key for parents to give children plenty of free time, manage their own expectations and think outside the box regarding homework help.
Early registrations are now being accepted for the Rector Labor Day 5K, set to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31. The event, which benefits the Rector Helping Hands Foundation, will begin in front of the Rector High School gymnasium.
