Tim Graves and the Farm Hands will perform bluegrass, country and gospel music at the next KASU-FM Bluegrass Monday concert. The show will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, at the Collins Theatre in downtown Paragould.

The Piggott High School gym was the site for the Fall Mohawk Community Pep Rally on Thursday, Aug. 15 with a large crowd of parents, relatives, friends and community members as well as athletes, coaches and school personnel on hand.
Early registrations are now being accepted for the Rector Labor Day 5K, set to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31. The event, which benefits the Rector Helping Hands Foundation, will begin in front of the Rector High School gymnasium.
Calling it an example of one great Arkansas sports institution lending a hand to another, Louis Cella announced today that Oaklawn has made a $500,000 contribution to the Razorback Foundation at the University of Arkansas. In addition, he is asking for other Arkansas businesses to consider also making a contribution to support the Razorbacks.
The schedule for the 2024 Clay County Fair has been set. This year’s fair will kick-off with the usual pageants on Saturday, Sept. 7, although the majority of events are being held Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 11 to 14 with the parade set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10.
