In the wake of the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, the Rector Cougar 4H Club has stepped up to support relief efforts, working alongside Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company of Paragould to provide muchneeded supplies to affected areas in Virginia. The 4-H members rallied together to gather essential items such as food, water, clothing, and hygiene products, which will be transported to communities hardest hit by the hurricane.
Rector City Council met Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Rector Community Center and addressed numerous issues involving properties, financial business, and department reports.
