Cougars defeat Hornets, secure playoff spot

The Junior Cougars captured the junior high 8-Man North District Conference Championship with a 22 – 8 victory over the Hornets of South Side Bee Branch at the Hendrix College field in Conway. By a score of 22 – 8, the junior Cougars displayed solid play and were able to contain Reynolds, the Hornet scat-back, and thwart their quarterback in passing attempts.
The traditional Holiday Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.

The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center will be hosting the photographic exhibit entitled The Veneto of Ernest Hemingway: Across the River into the Trees series seven. The exhibit is comprised of a series of beautiful black and white panels.
