Holiday Tour of Homes planned Dec. 8 in Piggott
The traditional Holiday Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The Christmas Shoppe slated at Piggott
Local shoppers are encouraged to take part in The Christmas Shoppe which is planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Piggott Community Center. The center is located at 161 E. Pfeiffer Street.

Piggott City Council hears update on sidewalk project
The Piggott City Council met on Tuesday, Nov. 19 due to the regular meeting date falling on Thanksgiving night. All members and City Attorney Kimberly Dale were in attendance. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved with the exception of it stating council member Jeff Benbrook was absent during the October meeting as he was present. The financials were approved as presented.
Tree planting ceremony held at PES
The Piggott Elementary School gym was abuzz with excitement as the students, faculty, staff and guests gathered for a tree planting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Remember-ing thirty-four years ago, that initial connection was forged between Belén and the Pruett family through an exchange student program that evolved into an extended family union.
