All-Conference 2024:

The Piggott Lady Mohawks took on the BIC Lady Mustangs on Monday, Dec. 9.

Rector’s junior Cougars overwhelmed the junior Rebels of Riverside on Tuesday night, Dec. 10 at the Rector gym. Defense was the key in the early going as the junior Cougars showed excellent basketball IQ resulting in the offense taking control of the game.

The Cougars and Greyhounds battled throughout the game and were tied at 42 with 55 seconds remaining on the game clock. Would this game be another heart clinching, breath-holding final seconds. When cats and dogs fight, it’s quite the battle. Coach Matt Mills searched for a defensive scheme throughout the game, battling the open 3-pointers for the ‘Hounds along with turnovers.
