The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center will be hosting the photographic exhibit entitled The Veneto of Ernest Hemingway: Across the River into the Trees series seven. The exhibit is comprised of a series of beautiful black and white panels. The exhibit will be on display through December on the second floor of the museum. Steven Bernard Stockton of Kennett, Missouri, passed away November 27, 2024, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Steven was born August 27, 1963, in Wasco, California to ClarenceAllan Stockton and Joann Williamson Stockton.

The Piggott Mohawks played host to the Southland Rebels on Tuesday night, Nov. 26. The Tribe lost in a close match with the end score of 58-53. The next game for the Mohawks will be at home on Dec. 5 as they take on the Armorel Tigers. Head Coach for the Mohawks is Scott Dodd and Assistant Coach is Alan Rabjohn.
Downtown Piggott will be alive with the sights and sounds of the holidays on Saturday, Dec. 7, as the annual Christmas Fest and pa-rade are held. Activities are slated from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the square, followed by the annual Christmas Parade at 4:30 p.m. The longstanding Christmas celebration is hosted each year by the Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce and is a free family event.
