The Rector Cougar 4-H Club brought home impressive accolades from the Crowley’s Ridge Classic Cattle Show held March 7 and 8 at the Greene County Fairgrounds, showcasing the talent and hard work of its young members. This year, the event was a big success for the club with members earning top honors in various categories.

Black RiverArea Development Corporation has announced the winter regular assistance program will close on Monday, March 31. Applications for winter crisis assistance will continue until Wednesday, April 30 or until funds are depleted. Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 3 p.m., on the second and fourth Mondays at the Piggott Community Center located at 161 E.
