Adalyn Younger, RHS freshman, is the young clarinetist who achieved All-Region position in 2024. More recently, Addie, daughter of Allan and Meagan Younger, was one of three selected out of 18 who auditioned for the Delta Youth Symphony Orchestra. The event was held Sunday, Aug. 24 at the ASU Fine Arts building.
Black River Technical College (BRTC) President Martin Eggensperger has been named as a finalist in Arkansas Business’s 2025 Executive of the Year Award. President Eggensperger, entering his sixth year leading the technical college, is one of six finalists in the publication’s state-wide nonprofit category. The winner will be announced during the Arkansas Business Executive of the Year Awards ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock.
The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center in Piggott will host a reading retreat on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., lunch provided. The reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sugar Creek Country Club.
