Art show planned in Rector Oct. 5
On Sunday afternoon, Oct. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., supporters of the arts in the area may drop in at The Noles Social for a chance to view art from local artists. Sponsored by Rector Chamber of Commerce and with refreshments catered by Caffeinated Cow and Big Time Pizza and Bakery, nine locals who ooze creativity will have their work on display.

Rector man arrested for selling illegal drugs to minors
Clay County Sheriff Ronnie Cole reports that 35-year-old Patrick Scott of Rector been arrested on suspicion of furnishing illegal substances to minors after a months-long investigation.
