Nathan Wayne Wright

Nathan Wayne Wright, 61, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away June 2, 2025, in Piggott.

He was born on January 23, 1964, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Robert Olney and Janice (Myers) Wright.

Nathan was united in marriage to Alana Holifield on May 23, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Olney Wright; mother, Janice Ann Myers; and mother-in-law, Vicki Holifield.

Nathan was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. He was an expert welder by trade. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his loving wife, kids, grandkids, and family. Nathan never met a stranger and would make a room come to life with laughter with his jokes, goofiness, and Nathan-isms. He was truly a genuine soul that will never be replaceable.

Nathan is survived by his wife and best friend, Alana Wright; three daughters, Monica (James Kaleb) Stuart, Elizabeth (Ike) Armour, Kortney Vlahiotis (Colin Blair); son, Tim Yust (Barbie Urteaga); twelve grandchildren, Lillian and Jameson Stuart, Jillian, Amelia, Rosemary, and David Armour, Weston, Walker, and Willem Vlahiotis, and Christian, Carlo, and Alyssa Urteaga; mother-in-law, Patsy Spicer; father-in-law, Don Holifield; sister, Cynde (Mark) McReynolds; niece, Dawn Marie; two brothers-in-law, Donnie Dewayne Holifield and Tenene, and “sister-in-law” Ha!Ha! Lenn Holifield and Tyedye Joyce; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends who will miss him deeply.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

“Let’er Rip, tadder chip” – Nathan Wright Funeral services were held Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkanssas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
