This week’s photo is a postcard from back in the day, featuring the “New” Franklin Theater in Piggott. The building remains, and is now home to the Old Franklin Antique Mall & Flea Market, although the building to the right burned down in the 1990s. Upon closer inspection, the movie poster beside the trash can at the right of the theater is for “Battle of Greed” starring Tom Keene, which was released in 1937.(File photo)
