Guest speakers from Nucor and Arkansas Northeastern College were on the Rector High School campus Thursday,Oct.16 to visit with interested students. Students learned about Nucor Steel and the paid internship program offered in conjunction with ANC. Among the speakers was RHS 2025 graduate Grayson Bryant. Grayson began the program this fall and was able to share his insight and experience with the program thus far. The Internship Program is a twoyear program which allows students to attend school two days a week and work three days a week. There is no cost to the students for any of their schooling and supplies and once completed, they will have earned an Associate’s Degree.“Nucor and ANC have been fantastic to work with, and this program is a wonderful opportunity for our students”,commented RHS Career Coach Kathy Fowler.
