Billie Jean Banks, 68 of Rector, Ark., passed away on May 1, 2022, at her home. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Thomas and Agnes (Dowdy) Bell. Billie dearly loved her family and anything to do with Elvis Presley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Dennis Banks and a son: Jeremy Banks.

She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Walker of Missouri, Andrea Escobar of Rector, Pam Prieto of Florida and her sons: Damon Banks (Amy) of Rector, Matt Banks (Misty) of Rector and Alex Banks & Jewliua Kuffell of Rector, daughter-in-law: Marcie Banks and Ricky Miller of Rector, her grandchildren: Zack Walker, Darrick Walker, James Walker, Abby Banks, Angie Banks, Mary Banks, Jamey Banks, John John Leon, Brandon Leon, Danielle Newland, great-grandchildren: Noah Howell, Colton Walker, Ivyene Banks, Andre Banks, Drake Banks, Brandon Pruitt, Braxton Newland, Treavor Newland, and Lucas Newland along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with the service beginning at 2 p.m. DJ Ricker will be in charge of the service. Interment will be at the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
