In celebration of National Hospital Week, marked May 9 to 14, a long-standing tradition continued at Piggott Community Hospital. Each year Piggott State Bank donates a “money jar” and allows the employees to guess the amount inside. Throughout the week the guesses are made, and the employee who is the closest without going over wins the contest. A favorite activity of the employees, this year’s effort was again a big hit. And, at the end of the week Kassie Allen (right) was deemed the winner. Kassie’s guess of $267.35 was only 51 cents off the amount of $267.86.
