Barbara Anna Johnson, 75, of Rector, Ark., passed away June 18, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

She was born on February 25, 1947, in Junction City, Kan., and was the daughter of Carl and Mary (Anderson) Larson.

Barbara was united in marriage to Harold Johnson on August 24, 1963.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Robert Larson; mother, Mary Larson and son, Matthew Allen Johnson.

Barb was a very loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, playing cards, and she loved our family cookouts. She leaves behind her four loyal fur babies; Sparky, Gabi, Jasper, and Champ who she loved very much.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Harold Johnson; three daughters, Roberta Lynn (Charles) Baber of Rector, Ark., Joanne (Scotty) Brandon of Manila, Ark., Mary (Kenny) Hendley of Cave City, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Cindy Kay Johnson of Rector, Ark.; five grandchildren, Alex, Cody, Matthew, Michelle, Jamie, and Samantha; brother, Darrel (Cathy) Larson of Ravenden Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Nancy Vurnovas of Machesney Park, Ill., and Karen (Scott) Johnson of Machesney Park, Ill.; several great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

No services are planned. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
