Martha A.Ward

Martha A. Ward, age 85, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Mrs. Ward was born October 21, 1937, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, daughter of the late Lloyd and Mattie Cox. On November 19, 1960, she married Clarence Ward. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2010.

She is survived by her daughter, Shonda Ward of Kennett, Mo. Martha was also blessed with many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

She was a humble member of the body of Christ, and a lifelong member of the Southern Baptist Faith.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
