Rector Community Museum Director Joey Pruett met with the Museum Board last month and presented an idea about reaching out to NE Arkansas area museum directors and volunteers for the purpose of combining ideas and brainstorming successes for local museums. Individuals were contacted by Pruett and their response to his invitation was positive.Twentytwo museum workers from the northeast area met on March 6 at 11 a.m. at the Rector Community Museum on Main Street and enjoyed a catered taco buffet by Camilo’s Mexican Restaurant. The group determined to continue the dialogue, sharing best practices and to remain connected through Pruett’s leadership.
