Thomas H. Gribble, 77, of Piggott, Ark., passed away March 20, 2023, at his home.

He was born on May 13, 1945, in Wardell, Mo., and was the son of the late Tom Wesley and Mattie Frances (White) Gribble.

Thomas was united in marriage to Kathy Cradduck on July 4, 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings: Imogene Mayberry, Lester Gribble, Junior Gribble, Ellen Lee, Lois Ann Rogers, and Freddy Lee Gribble.

Thomas enjoyed horse riding and loved farming. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter, Lacie.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Kathy Sue Gribble of Piggott; four children: daughters, Tammy and Lore, and son David; daughter, Melissa Underwood of Piggott; special granddaughter, Lacie Underwood of Piggott; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Carol Frances McLeroy of Gideon, Mo., Dorothy Faye Williams of Portageville, Mo., Liddy May Moore of Gideon, Mo., and Linda Sue White of Lilburn, Mo.; brother, William Leon Gribble of Campbell, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott with Bobby Moore officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Ark.

Pallbearers were Steven Underwood, Brian Hill, Chance Shaw, Roy White, Roy White, Jr., David Wiggs, and Earl McRoberts. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
