Jerry Winberry

Jerry Winberry, 68, of Piggott, Ark., passed away March 26, 2023, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
He was born on December 27, 1954, in St. Francis, Ark., and was the son of Davey and Euvila (Seal) Winberry.
Jerry was united in marriage to Lisa (Allman) Winberry on January 29, 1976.
He was preceded in death by his father, Davey Theodore Winberry.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lisa Winberry; two sons, Jeremy Winberry of Piggott and Tim (Lorie Cobb) Winberry of Brookland, Ark.; daughter, Lora (Sean) Graddy of Piggott; four grandchildren, Adam Winberry, Noah Winberry, Emma Graddy, and Benjamin Graddy; mother Euvila Winberry of Piggott; four brothers, Danny Lee Winberry of Piggott, Ted (Jeanie) Winberry of Piggott, Steve (Karen) Winberry of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and John (Kelley) Winberry of Armorel, Ark.; three sisters, Deanne (Nick) Yount of Pollard, Suzie (Kirby) Johnson of Piggott, and Tammy Winberry of Piggott; and many other relatives and friends.
Jerry worked many years and retired from Darling Store Fixtures. He loved hunting and fishing with a special brother-in-law Nick Yount. He was an avid supporter and fan of Mohawk athletics. You would always see him pacing the sidelines at the football games. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed singing in duets, trios and the choir at First General Baptist Church in Piggott.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott with Dr. Ray Barber officiating. Burial is in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis. Pallbearers will be Kirby Johnson, Dustin Bellers, Clint Bellers, Bryan Allman, Sean Graddy, and Kyle Johnson. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott.
