World Autism Awareness Day is celebrated to raise awareness regarding those who have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and their families. Piggott Elementary students wore blue on Monday, April 3 to show their support to increase understanding and acceptance. The month of April is “Autism Acceptance Month” previously known as Autism Awareness; the name was changed to encourage people to include them in activities.
