Dustin Bellers with the Jonesboro Fire Department was a recent visitor to the Rector High School campus. He spoke with the career development classes and interested juniors and seniors about a career in firefighting. During his presentation, he stressed,“The number one attribute necessary to be a firefighter is to be a worker.”He also commented,“Laziness doesn’t go a long way, and being a worker helps you in every profession.”“Dustin is a Piggott native and does a wonderful presentation every year for us.It is obvious that he is passionate about his job and that he enjoys visiting with students,”commented RHS Career Coach Kathy Fowler.
