Frances Bracken, 95, West Plains, Mo., passed away at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 25, 1928 at Rector, Ark., to Claud Hardin and Iris Hancock. Frances enjoyed farming and gardening. She loved her flowers.

She is survived by one son, Robert Bracken of Paragould, Ark.; four grandchildren, Sarah Ledbetter and fiancée Chad French of West Plains, Mo., Lee J. Matthews of West Plains, Brandon Bracken and wife, Aimee, of Tennessee and Jordan Bracken of Paragould, Ark.; eight greatgrandchildren; four sisters, Irene Snyder and Corrine Eagle of Rector, Ella Chronister of Piggott, and Tommie Pennie, of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, father of her children, Merle Bracken, one daughter, Shirley Edgeller, one son, Joe Bracken, six brothers and four sisters, preceded her in death.
