A check presentation ceremony was held Wednesday,June 19, as a donation was made to the local Make-A-Wish Foundation to benefit their annual fundraising drive.Amounting to $4,000.00, the funds were donated by members of the Piggott Heritage Car Show group.The check represented the proceeds from their annual show and auction, held the Friday evening prior to the car show. On hand to accept the funds were Make-A-Wish granter Cliff Carter and local Make-A-Wish volunteer Mistie Gossett.
