Steven Sigsby retired officially from the Rector Fire Department on August 13 with a gathering of fire department friends and well-wishers at the fire station on Hwy 49. After 34 years of service and the required age met,Sigsby will still be involved in overall activity of the department but no running down steps and out the back door to meet the call.Mayor Shawn Brandon expressed his appreciation.
