The City of Piggott held a reception on Friday,Nov.1 at City Hall in honor of Brian Haley,Utility Administrator,for his more than 30 years of service with the city. Friday was Haley’s last day as he said an emotional goodbye to his fellow employees. Among those present for the reception were Haley’s wife, Lori, and daughter, Anna, along with current and previous employees and Mayor Bradley Scheffler and former Mayor Jim Poole. Scheffler and Poole both gave speeches recognizing Hayley’s involvement in city operations over the years. He has worked for both the electric and water departments and served on the fire department during his time here. COURTESY PHOTO
