Jeremiah Humphrey from the United Welding Institute was on the Rector High School campus Tuesday, Jan. 7 and spoke with interested students. UWI is Arkansas’ first privatelyowned welding school and is located in Pottsville,Arkansas.Humphrey stated,“Students can graduate from our program in as little as four months and will have access to a lifetime of free brush ups if needed.” He also noted they have 100% job placement upon program completion.“Jeremiah drove four hours to spend time with our students.His personal stories made this visit very interesting and real for the students.This was Jeremiah’s second year to visit our campus,” commented Kathy Fowler, RHS Career Coach.
