Speakers from the Academy of Hair Design in Jonesboro visited the Rector High School campus Tuesday, Sept. 24. Students learned about the different programs of study available at the cosmetology school, in addition to, specific options following graduation. Students were surprised to hear they would have to study anatomy and chemistry as part of their schooling.“Beauty school is not all rainbows and butterflies.You gotta put in the work,” stated Amanda Futrell, co-owner of the school.
