Attending Lyon College and playing football while majoring in exercise science are the future plans of Ashton Scott. He is the son of Bridgette and Adam Branson and Billy Scott. His favorite school memory is playing Jack in the Box at the hotel after winning State. Ashton played football, baseball and basketball. He was in math club, science club, pizza club, art club, FCS, GT, 4H, FFA, NHS and the vet science team. He volunteered with Neighbor2Neighbor, Rector Food Pantry, Rector Beautification, Rector Sports Complex, 4H hygiene drive and the concession stand. He was All Conference in football, as well as being on the State champions football team and state runners-up the year before. He received a gold level career readiness certificate. Ashton would like to be remembered for throwing the longest pass in Rector history.
