Piggott High School marked fall homecoming on Friday, Sept. 15, culminating in the home football game with Marked Tree that evening. During the royalty assembly Friday morning this year’s court, and escorts, were introduced.
Black River Area Development Corporation has announced the Summer Entergy Assistance Program will close Friday, Sept. 29, 2023. Program coordinators report applications for Summer Energy Assistance will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. In turn, the applications will be processed until it appears the funds have been fully depleted.
