RES holds kindergarten graduation

May 9 was the special day that Rector’s kindergarten classes received their promotion certificates. Over the years, the little learners have formed a tradition of walking into the gym wearing a solid Rector blue cap and gown, ready to receive a kindergarten diploma. They sang ABC-Ya-Later and I’m On My Way. Throughout the elementary school and in the gym were backdrops for photos. Ashley Souder and Brooke Clayton taught these students to write, to count, to read, to take the time, to try and to succeed. “Though you’re off to first grade with new things to do, just know we are so proud of you!”
