Last week, a winter storm rolled into Northeast Arkansas like it was trying out for a role in The Day After Tomorrow. It didn’t just bring a dusting of snow—it brought bone-chilling temperatures, wind gusts that could slap the common sense out of you and the kind of road conditions that make you question every life choice leading up to that moment. Cougar teams finish out season with victories

An early game schedule on Thursday, Feb 13, brought Norfork Panther boys and girls teams to Rector for the final games of the regular season on the Cougar’s home court. The Lady Cougars tipped off at 5 p.m. followed by a recognition ceremony for Cash Lindsey noting his 1000 point career achievement. The senior high Cougars finished out the evening with two wins in the record books and by 7:30 p.m., fans were headed home.
