Rector Area Chamber of Commerce to host Labor Day art show
The Rector Area Chamber of Commerce will host an art show featuring the work of Madison Cate May. All art will be past and present scenes from the Rector Labor Day Parade and Picnic.

Elizabeth Diann White
Elizabeth Diann White, 61 of Rector, passed away on August 20, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Diann was born in Kennett, Mo., to the late James Edward and Francis (Mitchell) Burdin.

Photography event planned at Pfeiffer Museum
The Matilda Pfeiffer Museum and Inga’s Frame Shop will be co-hosting an event to coincide with National Photography Day from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19. The event will be held at the Matilda & Karl Pfeiffer Museum, 1933 Museum Row in Piggott.
