Burdin family reunion slated

The Burdin family and friends reunion will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18. The reunion will be held at the Clay County fairgrounds in Piggott. All members and friends of the Burdin, Burden or Burton families are encouraged to attend. Everyone is asked to bring a dish and enjoy fellowship and delicious food.

Rebecca June Lovelace, 83, passed from this life at General Baptist Nursing home in Piggott, Ark., on June 8, 2022. June was born June 10, 1938, in Deering, Mo., to Annie Lois (Ramey) Neel and A.L.

Patsy Ann Patterson

Patsy Ann Patterson, 78, of Piggott, Ark., passed away June 6, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott. She was born on August 17, 1943, in Broseley, Mo., and was the daughter of Earnest and Bertha (Shackleford) Rice.

Gaither artist makes guest appearance at Rector

Life Change Community Church, a non-denomination, community church, will celebrate its ten-year anniversary at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12 with renowned Gaither musician Kevin Williams who will perform in concert at the church, free to the public. The church is located a few blocks behind the Exxon/Subway business on Hwy. 49 and 9th Street. The church can be reached with access on the side street between the new Rector Drug and the Subway. Church members encourage the public to join in the celebration.
