Barbara Paulette Whitt, 79 of Piggott, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Rector on November 23, 1943 to the late Estell and Mabel Marlar Burdin. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott and worked in food service for Piggott nursing homes and Greenway School Districts. Her proudest accomplishment was the raising of her three sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Ferris Randolph, siblings: Floyd Burdin, Larry Clifford Burdin, Lloyd Burdin, Gerald Burdin, Lily Owens, and Mickey Hastings.

Paulette is survived by her children: Greg Randolph (Lynn), Kevin Lee Whitt (Bendi) and Eric Whitt (Mary); two grandchildren: Ferris Randolph and Sean Whitt; as well as greatgrandchildren; one brother: Harold Burdin; along with a host of other special relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday December 1, 2022, at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Graveside Services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday December 2, at Piggott Cemetery for family and close friends with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Piggott Public Library.
