Brandon Blount of Family Care Clinic of Recto was on the Rector High School campus Thursday, April 10 and spoke to interested students about his career as a family nurse practitioner. Blount is a 2003 RHS graduate and is the spouse of the schools healthcare instructor, Kocaina Blount. He has been working as a nurse practitioner for over 10 years and has experience in a variety of settings. “Students were eager to hear about his pathway and asked his advice on a number of issues.We thoroughly enjoyed his visit,”commented Kathy Fowler, RHS Career Coach.
