Carolyn June Eaton Johnson

Carolyn June Eaton Johnson, age 78, died peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Crestpark Nursing Home in Forrest City. Carolyn was born December 22, 1944, in Rector, the daughter of Manuel and Laura Eaton. She was a retired bookkeeper and a Baptist.

Carolyn is survived by two sons, Rob Johnson and his wife, Tamara, of Forrest City, and Jeremy Johnson of Lewisville, Tex.; four grandchildren, Hilary Trickey and husband, Chris of Jonesboro, Brodie Johnson of Forrest City, Kayla Knox and husband, Trevor, and Keely Johnson, all of Wynne; five great-grandchildren, Peyton Johnson of Forrest City and Jordan Trickey, Maddox Trickey, Dustin Trickey and Caroline Trickey all of Jonesboro; one brother, Ken Eaton and wife, Jan of Jonesboro and two sisters, Peggy Settlemoir and husband, Vern, and Sherry Gatewood, all of Sherwood, along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Eaton.

Visitation was held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Mark Book officiating. Interment was at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
