Carolyn Louise Golden, 72, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 8, 2025, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born on March 22, 1953, in Parma, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Ray Clayton and Beatrice Lousie (Campbell) Parkman.

Carolyn was united in marriage to Johnny Golden on April 12, 1990.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Golden; parents; nieces, Roxanna Hagan and Lauren Hunt.

Carolyn loved being with family, especially the grand babies. She enjoyed getting her hair and nails done.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Cathy Ray and husband Tori of Kennett, Missouri, and Jeffrey Campbell and wife Jennifer of Highland, Illinois; grandchildren: Samantha Womack and husband Aaron, Justin Heavilon and wife Katelyn, Jamie Nowicki and wife Kirsten, and Caleb Nowicki and wife Paige; three great grandchildren: Abigail and Colton Campbell, and Aaron Matthew; siblings, Don Parkman and wife Ruth of California, Charlotte Morgan of Malden, Missouri, and Susie Haley of Dexter, Missouri; nieces, Kimberly Holt and husband Seth, Loretta Cuevas and husband Sean, Elizabeth Mealor and husband Don, and Casey; nephew, Jonathan Duck and spouse; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott with Don Parkman officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers were Tori Ray, Samantha Womack, Aaron Womack, Jeff Campbell, Jonathan Duck, and Earl McRoberts. Honorary pallbearers were Rodger Nunn and Ronnie Neely. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
