PACE nominations being accepted

Nominations are being accepted for the Piggott Schools PACE program (Program for Academic and Creative Excellence). Nomination forms may be picked up and returned to the elementary school or high school offices. JACKSON RETIRES FROM COURTHOUSE

A retirement reception for Della Jackson was held Friday, May 6 at the Piggott courthouse. Della has worked in the Sheriff and Collectors Office for 21 years. She commented, “I will miss all the people.” In addition to being presented a plaque, she received other gifts and was treated to a delicious cake, punch and other food. Contributions being accepted for Ryan Rogers Memorial Scholarship

Contributions are being accepted for the Ryan Rogers Memorial Scholarship for the outstanding senior student-athlete at Rector High School. The scholarship is in honor of the late Ryan Rogers, who was the sports editor at the Clay County Times-Democrat and a great friend to RHS students.
