PHS class of 1968 get-together set
The Piggott High School class of 1968 will hold a get-together from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, at the Piggott Diner. The event is casual attire and buffet will be available for purchase for those attending. “We look forward to seeing you there,” commented a class member.
Causey family reunion planned June 28
The children of Homer and Dora Causey will be hosting a family reunion beginning at 12 noon on Saturday, June 28, at the Pollard Picnic ground. All family and friends are invited to attend. Organizers note a potluck meal will be served.

Mary’s Chapel Cemetery meeting slated
The annual Mary’s Chapel Cemetery meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, in the conference room of the Rector Community Center. Anyone with ties to the cemetery is urged to attend and help support the cemetery. Rector Public Library announces return of Summer Reading Program
The Rector Public Library is gearedup for a busy June and July as the Summer Reading Program returns. This year’s theme is “Color Our World”. The programs are at 9 a.m. Wednesdays during the month of June and will continue through July 23. The 2025 Summer Reading Program is open to children of all ages, with prizes, drawings, stories, reading logs, and more.
