The Rector School District Gifted and Talented Program is asking for student referrals for students in the second through 11th grades. Referral forms may be picked up and returned to the elementary, high school or superintendent’s office. Referred students should display high intellectual ability, task commitment and/or motivation and creative ability. Rector City Wide Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 12. As a reminder, organizers ask anyone who makes use of the park facilities during the event to please make sure all their items are removed from the park at the end of the yard sale.

The City of Piggott will be hosting a cornhole tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26. at the Piggott Community Center. Those interested may call 870-598-2003 or email acrittenden@cityofpiggott.org. Sign-up fee is $45 per team with a 60/40 payout. A food truck will also be available during the event.
