The Clay County Department of Human Services is now accepting applications from families for their annual Christmas assistance project. Applications will be accepted through Thursday, Nov. 30, at the DHS office in Piggott or at 1st Choice Healthcare in Corning.

Registration is now open to everyone for winter and spring classes at Three Rivers College. Students can register online, by phone, or by emailing an advisor. Register early to get your preferred classes and make sure your schedule works for you.
RES kindergarten students in Brooke Clayton’s class recently adopted a calf from the College of the Ozarks. Arlene, a Holstein heifer, was born on Sept. 3, 2023, and was 65 pounds and 28 inches at birth.The students will get to watch Arlene grow throughout the year, and will learn about the process of making milk.
