RHS STUDENTS ATTEND BUCKS AND DUCKS DAY
Rector High School had 21 students attend Pocahontas PreView/Bucks and Ducks Day on Thursday,Oct.12.The day is set aside to showcase the Black River Technical College campus to all junior and senior students who may be interested in attending BRTC.
Trunk or treat set at Piggott
The Piggott Community Alliance is hosting their annual “trunk or treat” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. As in previous years, the event is slated to be held around the courthouse square in Piggott. Organizers indicated that the event is open to anyone who would like to come and hand out candy.
Piggott Farmers Market plans Fall Festival
Piggott Farmers Market will host a Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the First National Bank Pavilion. The festival will feature food, crafts, and giveaways. Live music will be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Electric Voodoo Explosion. The market will be open as usual from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.
Morris Family to perform at Piggott First Baptist Church
Piggott First Baptist Church will host the Morris Family at 6 p.m. Sunday Oct.
Halloween Block Party planned at Rector
A Rector Halloween Block Party is planned from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct.
