Piggott 4-H Livestock team fundraiser slated

The Piggott 4-H Livestock team is currently hosting a You’ve Been “Budded” fundraiser through May 30. You can help support the club by “budding” a friend, family, business, or neighbor for $25. A display of clovers will be placed in the recipient’s yard. The lucky recipient can choose the next house by donating to continue the cause. You may also purchase clover protection for $10. 4-H Tech Changemakers workshop set

The 4-H Tech Changemakers are excited to announce a workshop on Microsoft Word Document and other digital questions and answers. The workshop is free and open to everyone. The next workshop will be held from 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, at the Piggott Public Library located at 361 West Main Street.

Tree walk to be held at Piggott museums

A tree walk will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Education Center and the Matilda and Karl Pfeiffer Museum and Study Center. This walk is to identify and discuss 15 different types of trees, their origin, history, use and age. This is a joined effort between the University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University. People are encouraged to sign up ahead of time. There is no cost for the program. For more information interested parties may call the museum at 870-5983487.

HPMEC plans watercolor workshop

An Architecture Watercolor Class entitled “No straight lines required” will be held at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22 with instructor Milo Stephens. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of any building they would like to use in creating a fun watercolor. The event is $35 per person with attendees bringing their own supplies.
